HERE'S A MITZVAH OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU...

Temple
Hillel, in its ongoing partnership with UJA-Federation
of New York, is collecting drama and arts &
crafts supplies to be enjoyed at Camp
Kehilla. Camp Kehilla, located on
the Henry Kaufman Campgrounds is run by the Sid Jacobson's JCC and
Samuel Field Y, is a day camp providing a safe environment for
children and teenagers who are not able to meet the social demands of
regular camps. Here is an opportunity for you to help enhance this summer
experience for these campers.
We will be collecting any newly purchased items from the following list:
straw
hats,
leis,
moroccos,
grass skirts, scarves, crowns,
liquid
tempura paint,
bristle paintbrushes,
easy-grip brushes, foam brushes,
markers, fabric markers, fabric paint, crayons,
lanyard-lace
spools, yarn, and construction paper.
A bin will be setup at the Religious school entrance, up until the evening of Wednesday, May 16, when we will be honoring Tracey and Keith Drayer at a Dinner reception on behalf of UJA-Federation of New York. Tracey and Keith have been active members and leaders in our synagogue, since 1991. Join us as we honor them for their dedication to Temple Hillel and Klal Yisroel.
