Sisterhood

Sisterhood, associated with Women’s League of Conservative Judaism, has a strong social action background by sponsoring a year round food drive, its annual Senior Luncheon at which time local nursing homes are invited to attend a wonderful afternoon of singing, dancing, camaraderie and food.  With tender loving care, Sisterhood members knit and crochet caps for sick children at Schneiders Hospital.  Sisterhood runs a gift shop and has its own cookbook.  Sisterhood provides functions for social, educational and fundraising activities.  Sisterhood runs a fashion show, a Bingo night, we sell Purim baskets, and we have guest speakers, we offer a Defensive Driving course, sell flowers and wine for the holiays and go on interesting trips of Jewish content.  Many activities are held in conjunction with Men’s Club.  Meetings are held monthly with a program to follow.
